| After a brief and unsuccessful career as a nude model, Doug Bratton did what all people seeking overnight fame and fortune do—he became a cartoonist. Immediately and with almost no effort, Doug achieved Hollywood A-List celebrity status and now, like most in the cartooning profession, can no longer leave his home without being mobbed by a swarm of paparazzi who follow him everywhere.
Between fulfilling countless autograph requests and attending nightly social functions with supermodels amidst his wife’s loud and annoying protests, Doug somehow manages to find a couple of minutes each week to scribble out his daily comic panel Pop Culture Shock Therapy, which appears online and in newspapers across the country. He also contributes comics to clients such as Nickelodeon and MAD Magazine, both of whom shower him with literally dozens of dollars. Doug has published two collections of Pop Culture Shock Therapy comics, and is the owner of the world’s largest collection of Doug Bratton original art.
He resides in the lush, rainforest-like Garden State of New Jersey with his aforementioned wife, their son, and his vicious attack Labrador Retriever. Doug describes himself as “brilliant and devilishly handsome, yet surprisingly humble.” |
